This week my book order hosted a Mockingjay Party in honor of the final movie, Mockingjay – Part 2 beingness release in theaters next week. We watched the movie, had dinner and spent time reminicing near how much we love the Hunger Games series of books and movies. This is the second political party that we've had in award of the Hunger Games. The starting time i we actually did Hunger Games activities shooting arrows at the villains from the movies. This time we were more chill.

Going with the Hunger Games theme I made potato roses reminiscent of President Snowfall obsession with the blossom. Here is the amazing recipe that I changed a tad bit from the 1 on Vegelicacy. I added paprika so that they would look a little more than "bloody" like President Snow likes them. He is such a creepy villain.

President Snowfall Rose Potatoes

Ingredients

• half dozen potatoes
• 1/two cup olive oil
• 2 tbsp Paprika
• 1 tbsp table salt
• 1 tbsp garlic pulverization
• 1 tbsp ground black pepper
  

Instructions

Preheated oven  to 400F.

Wash and pare potatoes. Cut them into sparse slices using a mandolin slicer.

In a mixing bowl bowl combine all the spices and oil. Mix well.

Mаke а row of 9-x overlаping slices. Spoon the seasoning and oil mix over the row of murphy slices. Starting time rolling with the piece that was laid down first. Brand sure to hold tight. You are rolling the spud into a rose.

Place the rose roll up into a muffin cup, holding with 1 hand and adding more than slices effectually it until the rose sits tight and don't loose.

Tiptop with more seasoning if you lot have it.

Broil for 25-30 minutes until gold-brown.
